Overview of Focal Points of The Criton Oscillator Model (COM)

A basic premise undergirding the concepts presented herein is that laws and theories are a consequence of the properties and the structures formed from the ultimate components of the Universe.  Thus, if one had a grasp of the ultimate components of a system, it should be possible, in theory, to envision a structure for the system that accounts for the phenomena as detected at the observational level.  This type of rational has been an influence in man’s quest to understand the workings of nature for a long time.  However since the musings of Democritus, storehouses of scientific observations have been accumulated that provide a background of information available for interpretation and reinterpretation.  Sometimes a better understanding of a previously conducted experiment is as valuable as a new experiment.  Current established theories fit subsets (domains) within the “jigsaw puzzle” of COM.  What is the structure of the Universe that makes them useful?

In Sections I & II the proposals for the ultimate components and their properties are developed.  Sections III – V present a structure for the Universe and its accessibility to measurement.  Sections VI-VIII are devoted to documenting the existence of the ultimate components by interfacing their properties with current laws and theories, reinterpretations of observations from previously conducted experiments, and proposals for specific experiments.

I.  The Ultimate Components

The common denominator(s) for the system of the Universe are proposed from an examination and extrapolation of the contemporary concepts of space, matter, energy, and the gravitational force.

II.  Interactions of the Ultimate Components

The basic interactions of the ultimate components with each other are proposed.  Every observation is the sum of such interactions.

III.  Reference Points and intervals Associated with the Domains of the Universe

Utilizing the properties of the ultimate components, an overall structural sequence for the evolution of the Universe is divided into intervals and the Platform Reference Frame (PRF) from which our measurements are taken is positioned.  Although the total Universe is the most complex of all bodies, the properties of the ultimate components dictate its options.  The extent of the Universe provides the borders to a dynamic, three-dimensional jigsaw puzzle (the ultimate interval) within which everything must fit.

VI.  The Hierarchy of Measurements Relative to the PRF

Our physical theories exhibit a hierarchical structure with each domain level often requiring different instrumentation to assess measurements.  Understanding our position within the hierarchy provides insights into the meanings and natures of observations.

V.  Reference Concepts and Components of Measurements

The natures of our current reference parameters are considered from the perspective of the ultimate components and the structure of COM.

VI.  Collisions of Macrons

At a focal position in reconciling energy exchanges is the collision event.  Under the idealized conditions of an elastic collision the respective sums of the mv and mv 2 factors are conserved.  These relationships are shown to evolve from the properties of the ultimate components.

VII.   Evidence of the Criton’s Existence

Substructure of the photon – the Pulson Model

The phenomena associated with the photon can be accounted for by utilizing COM.  The photon phenomena provide evidence and allow tests for the existence of the criton.

Structures and functions associated with the electron and proton.

Utilizing the ultimate components, explanations for the electrostatic and magnetic fields associated with charges and their contributions to the production of electromagnetic radiation, superconductivity, and the quantum Hall effect have been proposed.

A Proposal for a criton sea

Those critons not contained in conglomerates form a criton sea.  The criton sea occupies a similar geographical location as that once proposed for the ether, but it functions in a different manner.

The apparent inter conversions of mass and energy

The criton is positioned in the size hierarchy such that its detection occurs only by population effects.  This relationship has allowed the creation of the illusion that matter and energy are different forms of the same entity, i. e. E = mc2.

Interactions of the pulson signal that result in interference, reflection, diffraction, refraction, and dispersion are presented.

VIII.  Discussion

The utilities of selected theories are explained within the context of COM.

  IX.  Summary Comments

Ideological differences between some current theories and concepts with respect to COM are discussed.
